What is The Reef?

The Reef is an online portal that connects people of The River Church Community with one another for the purposes of sharing resources and building community. Users of The Reef have the opportunity to ask for support from or offer support to one another in the form of material resources, skills, relationships and time. Through practically meeting one another's needs, The Reef facilitates a community seeking to be interdependent, generous and true to God's call to love and serve one another.

Why is this called "The Reef"?

In our natural world, coral reefs are a haven for life, teeming with thousands of creatures that each uniquely contribute to the ecosystem. There is a strong system of interdependence, as each member of the community is valued and must participate in order to maintain the delicate balance needed for everyone to thrive.
